My current research centers on machine learning for graphs and scientific data. Key directions include: expressive and scalable graph representation learning, graph generative models, theoretical understanding of graph neural networks, and reliable AI for biomedical applications such as molecular foundation models, antimicrobial resistance detection, mass spectrometry data analysis, etc.

I am a project leader of the project group “Machine Learning on Graphs” in the Department of Machine Learning and Systems Biology. I am also an AI advisor at CertiSen. Before I was a postdoc in the Machine Learning & Computational Biology Lab of Karsten Borgwardt at ETH Zürich.

I obtained my PhD from Inria and Université Grenoble-Alpes. During my PhD, I worked in the THOTH team and LBBE lab on machine learning and bioinformatics under supervision of Julien Mairal and Laurent Jacob. I worked on (deep) kernel methods for structured data (sequences, graphs, etc.) and their applications in bioinformatics. I was funded by AMX.

I received my Bachelor and Master degrees from Ecole Polytechnique and another Master degree in applied Maths from ENS Paris Saclay.
